"When you've finished your own toilet in the morning, then it is time to attend to the toilet of your planet, just so, with the greatest care.”

Long before the word sustainability turned into fashion, Saint Exupéry already see the need to look at the planet with more humanity, humility, care and gratitude. Several phrases of his work show how sensitive and visionary he was.

Many decades later, The Little Prince is reborn in Brazil winning new format, fully aligned with the mindset of the XXI century. Symbolizing a kind of "guardian of the planet", the Little Prince, friend of the stars, flowers, animals and children plays in the book "The Little Prince Said," by Sheila Dryzun.

It is no coincidence that this book was born in Brazil, a tropical country that brings together so many races, beautiful flora and fauna, creative and hospitable people. Furthermore, Saint Exupéry had strong relationship with Brazil, through Florianópolis, Rio de Janeiro and other cities.

Remember, the famous Baobab tree, a strong symbol of the book was first known by Saint Exupéry in Brazil (in Natal), leaving him fascinated. As always, the Brazilian forests enchanting the whole world!

And it was at the city of Itu (state of Sao Paulo) that Sheila Dryzun and François d'Agay (nephew of Saint Exupéry) chosed to plant a Baobab. The Chocolate Fazenda (Farm), a paradise for children, was the perfect place to honor a writer who had brought a smile on the childhood of everyone, including when adults.

"I brought a seed of Baobab of Madagascar 2 years ago. Planted in my house in Sao Paulo, and two months ago brought it to Itu, where I have a house of the weekend. It was here that he grew rapidly. This showed me that Itu is his place. And bringing it to the Fazenda do Chocolate, where they receive so many kids, I'm sure it will grow further and plant seeds of the Little Prince in the ones that passes by”, says Sheila deepen touched on living her Baobab.

François d'Agay was also touched with the ceremony of planting. Impressed with the maintenance of the old rural environmental   by the Hacker family, it reinforces the importance of honoring the past generations, as he does with his uncle. With his hands in the earth connecting the presence of Saint Exupéry, strengthening the ties between France and Brazil, and leaving the mark of the Little Prince in this small town in exaggerated affection and fame. "If someone had told me, a few months ago, that I would be in this beautiful farm planting a baobab, I wouldn’t believe it. I am living a very special moment", he says.

The Baobab is under the care of the Hacker Family, owner of the farm and earn a prominent place. He know can be seen by any visitor.

THE BOOK

”But if you come at just any time, I shall never know at what hour my heart is ready to greet you.”

This is one of the 40 sentences chosen by Sheila Dryzun to create her book "The Little Prince said," launched at Cultura Bookstore (Sao Paulo) on 22 April (Earth Day). The book brings together joy, poetry, beauty and truth in the testimony of children, photos and reflections of some 40 celebrities such as Rita Lee, Luana Piovani, Rubem Alves, Fernando Meirelles, Tom Zé, Gilberto Dimenstein, Henry Sobel, Lázaro de Mello Brandão, Stephen Kanitz, Wellington Nogueira, Mauricio de Souza, Mario Prata, Pele, Luis Fernando Veríssimo, José Mindlin, among others.

"I picked each phrase of the Little Prince, and made a box of surprises for each of these people and invited them to share their stories, from the teachings of Saint Exupéry”, says Sheila.

Besides this book, which has more than 260 colored pages and delicately drawn, Sheila wrote "The Story of a story, summarizing the life of Saint Exupéry with stories, memories and details that few people know. "I just wanted to make an introduction of his life in the book, but during the research I discovered many things that ended up becoming one more book. Entering in his history, I realized that the Little Prince is actually an autobiographical book," says Sheila.

The project, which took over three years to complete, is already a success in less than 10 days of release. The seeds of wisdom and innocence planted by Saint Exupéry gain new form and reach new horizons from his work.
